I had big plans for this past weekend, I wanted to go to Czech Republic, to the seaside, to Berlin... But eventually Maciek's offer was the most appealing to me - having the lazy weekend in his cottage in the middle of the forest. The weather was supposed to be gorgeous, there's hardly a mobile phone reception and it's always the best place to catch up on the work, after all that's where I've written most of my thesis few years ago. But what was supposed to be a lovely relaxing weekend turned out to be nightmar-ish because of way too many annoying mosquitoes. On Saturday we were still fighting but we spent the whole Sunday inside as it was impossible to sit on the porch... Still it was nice to change the surrounding, breath the clean air and fall asleep to the perfect silence and a beautiful night sky...

Na miniony weekend miałam wielkie plany, myślałam nad małym wypadem do Czech, nad morze, do Berlina... Ale w końcu propozycja Maćka najbardziej do mnie przemówiła - leniwy weekend na jego działce w środku nadbużańskiego lasu. Pogoda miała być przepiękna, zasięg komórkowy praktycznie tam nie funkcjonuje, jest to też miejsce gdzie najlepiej można nadrobić zaległości w pisaniu (w końcu większość mojej magisterki tam powstała parę lat temu). Ale co miało być uroczym, relaksującym weekendem zmieniło się w mały koszmarek z powodu zdecydowanie za dużej ilości komarów. W sobotę jeszcze z nimi próbowaliśmy walczyć, ale już całą niedzielę spędziliśmy w domku, nawet siedzenie na ganku nie wchodziło w grę... Mimo wszystko miło było zmienić otoczenie, pooddychać świeżym powietrzem i usypiać w zupełnej ciszy i przy przepięknym gwieździstym niebie...
